Board Governance Evaluation
Today, many Boards and their Directors are subject to an evaluation of their ability to govern themselves and the organization. In addition to the regulatory requirements under which many Boards work, all Boards must ensure that their ethics, behavior, roles, structures, and procedures, meet standards that protect the health of the corporation.
Wilson Banwell helps ensure that Boards are, in every respect, achieving their purpose. We establish a basis for Board and Director development with our measurement tools.
The development and application of Evaluation procedures and methods to suit each Board's particular requirements is the business of Wilson Banwell. We start with our established evaluation instruments and then modify in accordance with the Board's key criteria for success.

Our systems are competency based and linked to strategy ensuring their relevance. We consult with your staff to identify those competencies most critical to performance. These competencies become the foundation for both performance appraisal and selection and hiring systems.
For our performance appraisal systems, we work with your managers to establish rating scales for each competency that are easy to use and relevant to your organization. Once developed, your human resources staff will have reliable and defensible rating scales that can be used as a critical part of your organization's performance evaluation process.
For our selection systems, we use our expertise to select and/or
construct assessment tools that measure each key competency. Once
developed, your human resources staff will be able to carry out competency-based
evaluations of future job candidates, using interviewing and testing
to inform their decisions.
