about learning online
What is learning online?
Learning online is a way to learn skills and solve problems using courses and information delivered to you over the internet.
What are the benefits of learning online?
Learning online is:
- private and confidential
- under your control
- at your own pace
- on your own schedule
- personalized to your unique situation
Can everyone benefit from learning online?
Yes. However, sometimes online learning should only be used in conjunction with counselling, not instead of it. For example, if your concerns are causing you so much distress that they interfere with your ability to carry out personal and/or work responsibilities, you should speak with a counsellor or your health care practitioner before taking a course.
If you have any doubts or questions about whether a course is right for you, talk to your counsellor or health care provider, or contact us.
